We have been successful in securing a 5 year Legionella control Northern Ireland tender with the Northern Health and Social care Trust. This tender is to cover the control of water borne pathogens in the domestic water systems including Legionella and Pseudomonas Aeruginosa analysis and control
This includes legionella risk assessments, regular legionella monitoring in accordance with ACOP L8, HSG274, HTM04:01
We also carry out regular sampling for Legionella and Pseudomonas Aeruginosa in accordance with HTM04:01 addendum.
When carrying out the analytical services we deal direct with a UKAS accredited Laboratory and have all analytical certificates emailed to us. From this the reports are sent direct to the Northern Trust and also uploaded to our ELRM (Electronic Legionella Risk Management) system. This has streamlined the processes the Trust had in place and made an audit trail of all samples, results and correspondence.
We also carry out any resampling and emergency chlorination work required from high counts found in the legionella samples.
All Chemical treatment Services Staff are highly trained in Legionella and Pseudomonas Aeruginosa sampling protocol. This means all staff are competent with both the taking of the water samples, and also the storage and transportation of the required legionella and Pseudomonas Auerginosa samples.
